Seeding AFIRE - Part 2
We each hold complex perspectives of the world, influenced by various kinds of information that are more accessible to us than ever before. What kinds of information do we pay attention to and share with one another? How do our lived experiences shape how we understand the information we send and receive? In this increasingly polarizing time, how do the ways we receive and pass information shape the world around us?
AFIRE is collaborating on a research study with FYLPRO, Tayo Help, and Dr. Rachel Kuo of the University of Wisconsin-Madison to explore these questions through a 2-part series of facilitated discussions held in Seeding AFIRE. Part 1 is on March 15 and Part 2 is on April 12. Registration required.

AFIRE 2024 End-of-Year Giving Campaign
We're nearing the end of the ‘ber months and it has been quite a ride. The world looks a lot different at the close of 2024 than it did a year ago.
With the incoming administration, we expect challenges we have faced previously, as well as those we have not yet anticipated. We were here with and for our community during the first Trump administration and we're going to be here for you again. Connection, collaboration, and digging in deep will be key to ensuring the sustainability of this work and we need your help to make it happen.
We have set up an end-of-year-giving campaign with a goal of $3000 that will run from December 1 - 31, 2024. AFIRE Chicago can reach this goal with your support and continue to foster Seeding AFIRE, Tagalog 101, AAA Day, and many other spaces and opportunities that grow our community, advocacy, and critical understanding. Please consider donating by visiting tinyurl.com/AFIRE-EOY-2024.
